Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1 - Lenz Krane
The Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1 of Lenz Kran from Bremerhaven (DE) could I photograph in the same city on a nice crane job. A couple of masts should be lifted here on a large radius.
It is a 200 tonne crane on 5 axles. The biggest crane of Lenz is a 300 tonne Grove crane.
The outrigger base of the crane measures 8.9 x 8.3 meters. The counterweight and outrigger pads are transported by truck. At the rear of the undercarriage is hanging a box with woods.
The main boom is here extended 58.3 meters, the max. length is 72 meters. With this boom length and counterweight is the crane still able to lift 2.7 tonnes on a 54 meter radius. The main boom can be extended with a folding jib with a max. length of 36 meters.
The crane is here fitted with 42 tonnes of counterweight, that can be extended by an additional slab and two hang-on slabs of each 10 tonnes to 72 tonnes. The tailswing is 4.85 meters.
The crane was lifting parts of a ligth mast on a big radius.
