Construction company Kutter from Memmingen (DE) ownes this sharp Liebherr LTM 1070/1 with year of manufacture 1995, here on a construction site in Memmingen to install precast concrete elements.
It is a 70-tonne crane on a 4-axle carrier. The undercarriage is powered by a Liebherr D 9406 TI-E, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a powerer of 300 kW (408 hp). The axles 1, 3 and 4 are powered, all axles are steerable.
The outrigger base measures 8.13 x 7.2 meters, or half 8.13 x 5 meters.
The superstructure is powered by a Liebherr D 914 TI, a 4-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 125 kW (170 hp). The diesel engine powers two hydraulic pumps to operate the crane functions. The crane is equiped with a 5-tonne winch with 17 mm-hoist cable, a second winch was optionally available.
The crane is fitted here with 13 tonnes of counterweight, that is the maximum for this crane. The crane has a tailswing of 3.65 meters.
At the rear of the chassis is a box for lifting gear installed.
The main boom has a base length of 10.6 meters, the main boom extends four times to a maximum length of 40 meters. A bi-fold swingaway jib with a length of 8.4 or 15.8 meters takes care of a maximum hook height of 56 meters.
The main boom is here extended 17.4 meters.
Some days later stood the crane in transport mode on the same construction site.
Packed is the crane 12.35 meters long, 2.5 meters wide and 3.75 meters high. The transport mass is around 48 tonnes.
During transport over the road are 5.7 tonnes of counterweight lay down behind the cabin.
A sharp crane, that has on these photos already an age of 22 years.
