Here was the sharp Liebherr LTM 1230-5.1 used for a job at night in the city centre of Singapore (SG), not far away from the famous Orchard Road. Because the crane will be partially positioned on the public road, such jobs can only be done at night.
Two modules for a pop-up store are to be installed near the head quarter of a large telecom provider. The transport of these modules is also done by Kim Soon Lee.
The first module with a mass of approx. 7.5 tonnes is lifted from the trailer.
This LTM 1230-5.1 was the second unit in Singapore, today a few more of them have arrived. Kim Soon Lee deploys two of these sharp machines.
Here was the crane fitted with the full counterweight of 72 tonnes.
The counterweight is here installed on a 5.73 meter tailswing. For narrow locations is the counterweight to be positioned on a 4.83 meter tailswing.
The outrigger base measures 9.35 x 7.4 meters (front) and 8.1 meters (rear). This crane is fitted with VarioBase, where the crane calculates live the lifting chart bases on the tonnage of the counterweight and the width of the outrigger base.
The second module will be lifted now.
The eight-part main boom has a 12.7 meter base length and extends to a maximum length of 75 meters. Here is the main boom extended to a length of 52.9 meters. Optionally is the main boom to be extended by a 12.7 - 20 meter long bi-fold swingaway jib.
The second module with a mass of 7.9 tonnes is positioned on a 34.6 meter radius.
A very sharp job done by Kim Soon Lee!
