This Liebherr LTM 1070-4.2 from model year 2013 is operated by Hwee Guan from Singapore (SG). It is a 70-ton crane mounted on a 4-axle carrier.

In transport configuration, the crane is 13.03 meters long, 2.55 meters wide, and 3.9 meters high. The crane has a total weight of approximately 48 tons.

The carrier is powered by a 6-cylinder diesel engine with an output of 330 kW (449 hp). This crane features the standard 8x4x8 drive configuration, with axles 3 and 4 being driven. All axles are steerable.

The 6-section main boom has a base length of 11 meters and telescopes in five stages to a maximum length of 50 meters. Optionally, the main boom can be extended with a 9.5 to 16-meter folding jib, which can be mounted to the main boom at angles of 0, 20, 40, or 60 degrees.

The crane is finished in standard Liebherr colors. At the rear of the chassis, a storage box for timber and lifting equipment is installed, and a set of outrigger pads is carried on the rear of the chassis.

On the superstructure, 6.2 tons of counterweight remain installed. When the crane is equipped with the optional second winch, the total counterweight is reduced to 13.8 tons. The counterweight has a slewing radius of 3.46 meters, and the second winch has a slewing radius of 4 meters.

The outrigger base measures 8 x 6.3 meters, or 8 x 4.5 meters in the half-outrigger configuration. During road transport, 7.6 tons of counterweight are carried on the carrier.

A fine crane from Hwee Guan!
