Liebherr LTM 1055-3.1 - Hi Lift
This sharp Liebherr LTM 1055-3.1 of Hi Lift from Auckland (NZ) stood erected on a construction site. It is a 55-tonne crane mounted on a 3-axle carrier.
The 3-axle carrier is powered by a Liebherr D926TI-E, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 270 kW (367 hp). This crane has the optional 6x6x6-drive line where all axles are powered and steerable.
The 5-part main boom has a 10.2 meter base length and extends four times to a maximum length of 40 meters. Attached to the main boom is a small runner for the second hook.
The outrigger base of the crane measures 7.36 x 6.3 meters, or half 7.36 x 4.5 meters.
In transit is the crane 11.865 meters long, 2.82 meters wide and 3.75 meters tall.
At the rear of the crane is a box for lifting gear mounted. At the rear of the chassis are wooden beams stored.
Here was the crane fitted with 6.4 tonnes of counterweight, the full counterweight is 11.4 tonnes. The second winch is installed above the counterweight, this winch has a tailswing of 4.05 meters. When the second winch isn't installed is it replaced by a 0.6 tonne counterweight slab and is the tailswing only 3.5 meters.
