This sharp Liebherr LR 1100 of Hercuton from Nieuwkuijk (NL) stood on a construction site in Zwaag (NL) to erect a building with concrete precast elements. It is a 104.5 tonne crawler crane with year of manufacture 2007.
The crane is powered by a Liebherr D936L A6, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 270 kW (367 hp).
The undercarriage is 6.46 meters long and 5.05 meters wide, for the transport over the road is the width to be reduced to 3.5 meters. Attached to the undercarriage is 15 tonnes central counterweight installed.
The crane is fitted with two 12-tonne hoist winches.
Attached to the superstructure is 32.3 tonnes of counterweight, the counterweight has a 4.7 meter tailswing.
Hercuton was operating multiple crawler cranes, those were all used for the installation of concrete precast elements.
Here was the crane fitted with a 26 meter long main boom with a 23 meter long luffing jib.
The crane can be erected with a 62 meter long luffing jib, combined with a 38 meter long main boom.
