The company Helling from Schwäbisch Gmünd (DE) is owning two of these Liebherr LR 1600/2 crawler cranes, this is the first unit.
It is a 600 tonne crawler crane, here put up with a luffing jib and in superlift to lift heavy precast concrete beams.
The upper weights are 150 tonnes, that is extendable up to 190 tonnes. The tailswing of the counterweight is 8 meters.
Fitted with a short derrick boom (30 meters), a 36 meter main boom and a 48 meter luffing jib. In this configuration the crane is still able to lift more than 200 tonnes!
Two hoist cables are in use here.

The tray with 240 tonnes of derrick counterweight was standing behind the crane for the next heavy lift. The max. derrick counterweight is 350 tonnes and has a max. radius of 18 meters.
The crane is 10.4 meters wide.
One track is 10.9 meters long, 2 meters wide and 1.9 meters height. The mass each is 38 tonnes.
Between the tracks is in total 65 tonnes of central counterweights mounted.
The year of manufacture is 2010, the second crane was add in june 2014.

Both LR 1600/2 of Helling are mainly used by the errection of wind turbines.
