Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1 - Heijkoop
The largest crane that is operated by Heijkoop from Nieuwerkerk a/d IJssel (NL) is this sharp Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1 with year of manufacture 2017. It is a 450-tonne crane that is installed on an 8-axle undercarriage.
The 8-axle undercarriage is powered by an 8-cylinder Liebherr diesel engine with a power of 505 kW (686 hp). The axles 1, 2, 4 and 5 are driven, all axles are steerable.
The outrigger base of the crane measures 10 x 9.6 meters. The outrigger pads of the crane are 4 x 2.3 meters.
Packed has the crane a 20 meter length, a 3 meter width and a 4 meter height. The transport mass is around 96 tonnes.
The cabin on the superstructure is approx. 20 degrees tiltable.
On this crane are the hydraulic pumps in the superstructure powered by the engine in the crane carrier.
The maximum counterweight weights 134 tonnes, that exists out of a 10-tonne base plate, two 7-tonne slabs and in total 110 tonnes in slabs with 5 and 10 tonnes. The crane has VarioBallast, where the tailswing of the tailswing is hydraulically adjustable. The counterweight can be positioned on a 5, 6 and 7 meter radius, where the lifting capacity of the crane is adjusted to the tailswing. Here is the tailswing at 5 meters.
The crane stood here fitted with a short 24.5 meter luffing jib. The luffing has a maximum length of 84 meters. The main boom is here extended 21.4 meters.
For the open day was a set-up prepared where the LTM 1450-8.1 is lifting the older LTM 1300/1 with a mass of approx. 72 tonnes! The 1450 is replacing at Heijkoop the 1300, that was here already 17 years old.
The main boom of the crane has a 16.1 meter base length and extends six times to a full length of 85 meters. With the main boom fully extended is the crane able to lift 20 tonnes on a 16 meter radius. In the shown configuration is the crane able to lift maximum 90.5 tonnes on a 12 meter radius and 39.4 tonnes on a 32 meter radius.
Again a very sharp crane in the colours of Heijkoop!
