Liebherr LTM 1070-4.2 - Hans Fuchs
Construction company Hans Fuchs from Ellwangen (DE) owns this Liebherr LTM 1070-4.2, that is often used on construction sites to assemble precast constructions.
The 4 axle crane has a 48 tonne mass. The crane is powered by a 6 cylinder Liebherr diesel engine with 367 hp. The crane has an automatic ZF transmission with 12 speeds. On the road a speed of 80 km/h can be reached.
Packed is the crane 12.52 meters long, 2.55 meters wide and 3.95 meters heigh.
The outrigger base of the crane is 8 x 6.3 meters, or half: 8 x 4.5 meters.
The crane was used with all his counterweight, 14.5 tonnes. The counterweight has a 3.46 meter tailswing.
At the rear of the crane is a large storage box made for lifting tools. On the rear of the chassis is a box made for woods. Space for larger outrigger pads is not available; normally not necesary in the south of Germany.
The boom is from 11 to 50 meters extendable. The boom has 5 telescopic sections. The 50 meter long boom is extendable with a 16 meter folding jib. The crane can take this folding jib with him, together with 10.7 tonnes of counterweight, without exceeding the axle loads (12 tonne per axle).
