Franki Grundbau from Seevetal (DE) owns this nice Liebherr HS 873 HD that was used on a construction project in the Netherlands.
It is a 90 tonne heavy duty crane with a 609 hp Mercedes Benz V12 engine.
At the left his bigger brother: the Liebherr HS 875 HD. Biggest difference are other engines, heavier winches and smaller exterior details, like the cabin. A HS 874 is never built because number 4 is an unlucky number in Japan and China.
The counterweight is two part and exists out of a main slob of 19.6 tonnes and an optional slob of 4.5 tonnes.
Fitted with a 20 meter boom, max. length is 50 meters.
The machine was doing a slurry wall grab job for a new railway tunnel.
The undercarriage is 6.5 x 4.8 meters wide. The tailswing is 5.5 meters.
The ground is dumped in dumpers.
In this position the machine weights about 100 tonnes (exclusive grab).
