The third job for the sharp Liebherr LR 1750/2 of Fanger from Sachseln (CH) was to lift two pre-fabricated bridge beams in Dietikon (CH).
The second job was the removal of an old bridge with main boom only. To lift the bridge beams for this job was the derrick equipment required.
The tray is prepared with 337.5 tonnes of derrick counterweight.
The superstructure counterweight weights 170 tonnes and has a 9.2 meter tailswing.
The two pre-fabricared bridge beams have a mass of each approx. 245 tonnes and were pre-produced by the construction company next to the new location.
The load was slowly lifted up by the crane so the derrick counterweight could be pushed out. Here is hanging 337.5 tonnes of counterweight on a counter radius of 20 meters.
The crane is fitted with a 31.5 meter derrick boom and a 56 meter tapered main boom in HSLDB configuration.
After picking up the beam the crane drives slowly forwars.
The 245-tonne bridge beam is installed on a 32 meter radius.
During this impressive job in September 2016 was this the largest crane working in Switzerland.
The second bridge beam would be installed later that day. Again a very nice job by the specialists of Fanger!
