Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1 - Fanger

This sharp Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1 of Fanger from Sachseln (CH) was used as a assist crane by the Liebherr LR 1750/2. It is a 200-tonne crane with year of manufacture 2014.

The undercarriage is powered by a Liebherr 6-cylinder diesel engine with 503 hp. This crane has the standard 10x6 drive line and all axles are steerable. Optionally is the first axle also driven.

The outrigger base measures 8.9 x 8.3 meters.

At the rear of the chassis is a large box for lifting tools and wood installed.

The crane stood erected here with the full counterweight of 72 tonnes, that exists out of a 12 tonne base plate and four slabs with each 10 tonnes and two hang-on slabs with 10 tonnes each. Geometrically the base plate could stay on the undercarriage during transport over the road, due to axle limits Fanger doesn't do that.

The main boom has a 13.2 meter base length and extends six times to a 72 meter length. The main boom is extended here only 22.2 meters.

The crane was here used to prepare the derrick counterweight for the LR 175/2.

Some days earlier stood the crane packed on the yard.

The crane has the optional hydraulic folding jib, during operation the folding jib is adjustbable between 0 and 45 degrees against the main boom.

Packed has the crane a 15.37 meter length, a 4 meter height and a 3 meter width. The transport mass is around 60 tonnes.

Again a very sharp crane of Fanger!
