They are owning some heavy crawler cranes, whereof the Liebherr LR 11350 the biggest one is. The Liebherr was in the spring of 2014 used on a harbour yard in Cuxhaven (DE) to lift heavy windmill towers into ships.
The Liebherr LR 11350 is a 1,350 tonne crawler crane. The crane is here put up in SDB configuration, that means heavy main boom, derrick boom and derrick counterweight (with tray).
The crane was fitted with a 72 meter main boom, in this configuration the boom has a maximum length of 150 meters. In this configuration and boom length is it still possible to lift loads over 1,000 tonnes. Fagioli's crane is equipped with a 114 meter main boom and 84 meter luffing jib.
The undercarriage exists out of a 43 tonne center section, two 45 tonne cross-beams and than the two crawlers with each 70 tonnes. The undercarriage is 14.46 meters long and 13 meters wide.
The heavy hookblock is fitted with two sets of 8 sheaves. Loads up to 815 tonnes can be lifted with it. The hookblock weights with additional counterweight about 22 tonnes. The hookblock can be extended with another two sets of 5 sheaves for loads up to 1,350 tonnes; the hookblock weights then around 40 tonnes.
The derrick boom has a 42 meter length and is adjustable from 15 to 25 meters. The max. derrick counterweight are 600 tonnes.
