This sharp Liebherr LTM 1050-3.1 of ESB Kranverleih from Mittelbiberach (DE) stood erected for a small event in Laupertshausen (DE). It is a 50-tonne crane installed on a 3-axle undercarriage and has year of manufacture 2018.
The crane is powered by a 6-cylinder Liebherr diesel engine with a power of 270 kW (367 hp). This crane has the optional 6x6-drive line, where all axles are powered. All axles are also steerable. The same engine is used to power two hydraulic pumps in the superstructure to make sure all four crane movements can be operated simultaneously.
The outrigger base of the crane is measuring 7.15 x 6.4 meters, or half 7.15 x 4.5 meters.
At the back of the chassis are two large storage compartments made, a box for spreader woods and a box for lifting gear. In transit is the crane 11.83 meters long, 2.55 meters wide and 3.84 meters tall. The transport mass is approx. 36 tonnes.
Here was the crane in operation with the full counterweight of 9 tonnes, the counterweight has a 3.53 meter tailswing. The make the main boom as long as possible is the pivot point for the boom placed as much as possible at the back, this is why the hoist winch is installed at the back of the superstructure frame, behind the counterweight.
The crane has a 4-part main boom with a maximum boom length of 38 meters.
Next to the boom is hanging a small assembly jib with a length of 1.4 meters that is mountable under an angle of 0, 20, 40 or 60 degrees to the main boom. It is possible to lift maximum 18.7 tonnes over this jib.
During the event was hanging a car in the crane, sponsored by the garage that was sponsoring the event.
