Emil Egger from St. Gallen (CH) was temporary using this Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1, it is a rental crane of Van Adrighem from Vierpolders (NL) that was used by Emil Egger until their own Terex AC 500-2 was delivered. This crane is still in standard Liebherr colours and was later also shortly used by Peinemann from Hoogvliet (NL).
The crane stood here along the highway 1 close to St. Margrethen (CH) where at night large concrete wells for the sewage system were installed.
It is a 500 tonne crane on an 8-axle crane carrier. The crane's year of manufacture is 2016.
The undercarriage is powered by a Liebherr D9508 A7, an 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 500 kW (680 hp). The engine poweres the axles 1, 2, 4 and 5. The axles 1 to 4, 7 and 8 are steerable. The smallest internal turning circle is 7.145 meters.
The outrigger base measures 10 x 9.6 meters, or half 10 x 6.25 meters. At day time this crane was parked on half outrigger base to keep the drive way open for other traffic.
The outrigger pads are designed for a maximum outrigger pressure of 200 tonnes.
Here was the crane fitted with 135 tonnes of counterweight that has a tailswing of 6.6 meters. The counterweight exists out of seven slabs with each 15 tonnes and four blocks with each 7.5 tonnes. The counterweight frame with adjustment winch for the luffing jib weights 21.5 tonnes.
During the transport over the road is the cabin swinged behind the superstructure of the crane.
The main boom has a base length of 16.1 meters and extends three times to a total length of 50 meters. The main boom is extended here 26.5 meters. The main boom can be fitted with a maximum 63 meter long fixed jib or a 91 meter long luffing jib.
