This sharp Liebherr LTC 1055-3.1 of Cranes, Inc. from Maspeth, New York (US) stood on the parking of the manufacturer. The crane has year of manufacture 2005 and is on the photos 12 years old. In the meantime is the crane replaces by a newer LTC 1050-3.1.
It is a 55-tonne crane on a 3-axle carrier. The crane is driven and operated from the same cabin. In the superstructure is the Liebherr D846 A7, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with 476 hp, installed. The carrier is hydrostratic powered from the superstructure; all axles are powered and steerable.

The bi-fold swingaway jib has a maximum length of 16 meters and is by hydraulics adjustable between 0 and 60 degrees. A part of the counterweight is for a better load distribution during the transport over the road attached to the bumper.
