This sharp Liebherr LTM 1050-3.1 of Commandeur & Plomp from De Rijp (NL) stood in West-Graftdijk (NL) to assist by the construction of holiday appartments. It is a 50-tonne crane that is installed on a 3-axle crane carrier. The crane's year of manufacture is 2017.
The crane is powered by a 6-cylinder Liebherr diesel engine with a power of 270 kW (367 hp). This crane has the optional 6x6-drive line, where all axles are powered. All axles are also steerable. The same engine is used to power two hydraulic pumps in the superstructure to make sure all four crane movements can be operated simultaneously.
The full outrigger base measures 7.15 x 6.4 meters, or half 7.15 x 4.5 meters. At the back of the undercarriage are the large outrigger pads taken.
To make the main boom as long as possible is the pivot point for the boom placed as much as possible at the back, this is why the hoist winch is installed at the back of the superstructure frame, behind the counterweight.
The crane was in operation here with 6.2 tonnes of counterweight only, this is the amount that is attached to the superstructure. The full counterweight weights 9 tonnes and has a 3.53 meter tailswing. The remaining 2.8 tonnes of counterweight are stored on the undercarriage.
The 4-part main boom has an 11.4 meter base length and extends three times to a full length of 38 meters. Optionally is it possible to attach a 16 meter long bi-fold swingaway jib, that can be installed in a 0, 20, 40 or 60 degree angle. The crane of Commandeur & Plomp does not bring the folding jib on the crane.
The crane was busy here to lift floor plates.
A very sharp crane by Commandeur & Plomp! Today is this crane operating telescopic cranes up to a 130 tonne lifting capacity.
