This Liebherr LR 1600/2 of Carballo from Güimar, Santa Cruz de Tenerife (ES) was used in the southern part of Germany to erect wind turbines. This company has two LR 1600/2 in operation.
The crane is powered by a Liebherr D846 A7, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with 503 hp.
The undercarriage is 10.96 meters long and 10.4 meters wide.
The hydraulic outriggers are used to unload the lower- and upper works from the truck. The transport unit weights, depening on the equipent, between 57 and 74 tonnes.
The tracks are 10.9 meters long, 2 meters wide and 1.9 meters high. The mass each with two drives is 38 tonnes.
Fitted with 150 tonnes of counterweight, existing out of two 5-tonne brackets and 14 slabs with each 10 tonnes. The maximum counterweight is 190 tonnes. The tailswing of the counterweight is 8.01 meters.
Attached to the undercarriage is 65 tonnes of central ballast, a 2.5-tonne bracket with three 10-tonne slabs per side.
The crane is erected in HSL4DFB configuration with 108 meters of main boom and a 12 meter fixed jib.
The derrick boom has a 36 meter length.
