Brink Staalbouw from Barneveld (NL) is for the erection of steel and precast concrete structures using multiple cranes from their own fleet, like this sharp Liebherr LR 1160 that was used on a project in Hoofddorp (NL).
It is a 160-tonne crawler crane with year of manufacture 2017. The undercarriage of the crane is 8.46 meters long and 6.8 meters wide.
A single track is 8.46 meters long, 1 meter wide and 1.475 meters tall. The tracks must be dismantled for transport over the road and have a mass each of 17.26 tonnes.
Between the tracks are on both sides of the crane 10 tonnes of central counterweight installed, in total 20 tonnes. Below the counterweight slabs are storage compartments made for lifting gear, tools, etc.
The crane is powered by a Liebherr D 944 A7-04 diesel engine with a power of 230 kW (308 hp).
The counterweight has a total mass of 62.3 tonnes and has a 5.9 meter tailswing.
Here was the crane fitted with a 25.7 meter main boom combined with a 34.4 meter luffing jib.
