This Liebherr LTM 1045/1 of B.Q. de Ruyter from Amsterdam (NL) was overtaken by Commandeur & Plomp from De Rijp (NL), the crane is already parked on their yard; in the background is standing the Liebherr LTM 1100/2.
It is a 45 tonne crane on a 3 axle undercarriage. The undercarriage is powered by a Liebherr D 926 TI-E A5 6 cylinder diesel engine with 367 hp. This crane is fitted with the optional 6x6 drive line, all axles are driven and are steerable.
The main boom has a 10.3 meter base length and is fully extended 34 meters long. A bi-fold swingaway jib with a total length of 16 meters can be mounted under a 0, 20 or 40 degree angle against the main boom.
During the transport over the road is a 1.4 tonne counterweight slab lowered on the undercarriage.
Packed has this crane a 11.21 meter length, a 2.23 meter breadth and a 3.85 meter height. The transport weigth is 36 tonnes.
5.6 tonnes of counterweight are remaining on the superstructure. The total counterweight is 7 tonnes and has a 3.45 meter tailswing. The crane is equipped with 15 mm hoist cable with a 4.5 tonne line pull.
At the rear of the undercarriage is a large box made for lifting tools. On top are laying the 4 outrigger pads.
B.Q. de Ruyter owned also a Liebherr LTM 1080/1, a crane that is exported in the meantime. Today is the company, that is now called B.Q. Duiker, not owning any mobile cranes anymore.
