In 2022, Bok Seng from Singapore (SG) commissioned this impressive Liebherr LR 1750/2. It is a used crane from the United States and was built in 2015. The crane was erected here on the premises of Bok Seng for training and testing.

It was one of the last LR 1750/2 cranes with the older type of cab; only a few of these were delivered. The booms and ballast were still in the standard Liebherr colours, as used by Buckner. In the meantime, the crane has been completely repainted in the colours of Bok Seng.

The carrier is 11.9 metres long and 10.3 metres wide.

A single crawler track is 11.9 metres long, 1.5 metres wide and 2.13 metres high. The transport weight per piece is 44 tonnes.

The crane is powered by a Liebherr D9508 A7, an 8-cylinder diesel engine with an output of 455 kW (618 hp). The diesel engine drives the hydraulic pumps.

A total of 95 tonnes of central ballast is mounted on the carrier. This consists, on each side, of a 10-tonne base plate with three blocks weighing 12.5 tonnes each mounted on top.

Here, a total of 170 tonnes of ballast was mounted on the superstructure. This consists, on each side, of a 10-tonne bracket containing six blocks weighing 12.5 tonnes each. The ballast on the superstructure has a swing radius of 9.2 metres. The maximum ballast on the superstructure is 245 tonnes.

For the tests, the crane was erected in SLDB configuration. The derrick boom is 31.5 metres long here and the main boom is 56 metres long. With this length of derrick boom, the main boom can be extended to a maximum of 133 metres.

As standard, the derrick boom has a length of 31.5 metres; it can be extended to 38.5 or 42 metres.

Here, 150 tonnes of ballast from the Kobelco SL6000 was stacked on the tray. The maximum superlift ballast is 400 tonnes. The counter-radius of the superlift ballast is adjustable between 13 and 20 metres.

A very fine and special crane from Bok Seng!
