The sharp Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 of Bok Seng from Singapore (SG) was used during a weekend to hoist generators for a data centre. The crane was installed on the public road.
The X-shaped outrigger base measures 12 x 12 meters.
The generator with a 45 tonne mass is just unloaded from the truck and is now positioned on a lifting frame.
Here was the crane fitted with 144 tonnes of counterweight, the counterweight has a 7.56 meter tailswing.
Then the lifting frame with generator is lifted, the total mass in the crane is now 68.2 tonnes.
The load is lifted on a 20 meter radius. The main boom is extended here to a 43.7 meter length.
The lifting frame with generator is positioned in front of the building and fixed. Then the generator is skidded into the structure.
The arms of the YSL boom guying are each unfolded 10 degrees.
Slowly the generator is dissapearing into the structure. A sharp job done by Bok Seng!
