This Liebherr LTM 1400/1 of Boekestijn from Maasland (NL) was used for the lifting of three bridges. It is a 400-tonne crane with year of manufacture 2004, it was the first Liebherr LTM 1400/1 in the Netherlands.
The 7-axle undercarriage is powered by a Liebherr D 9408 TI-E, an 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 440 kW (598 hp). The axles 1, 3, 5 and 6 are powered and all axles are steerable. The crane can reach driving speeds of 80 km/h.
The full outrigger base of the crane measures 10 x 9.5 meters, or half 10 x 6.23 meters.
First are two cyclist bridges with each a mass of 26 tonnes lifted from the bearings and temporary stored on the street.
Then is the main bridge with a mass of 55 tonnes lifted. The crane has the main boom extended to a length of 36 meters, the maximum length is 60 meters.
After the oversized boat house has passed, the bridges can be installed back again.
Here was the crane fitted with 100 tonnes of counterweight, the tailswing of the counterweight is hydraulically adjustable between 5.6 and 6.6 meters. The full counterweight of the crane is 140 tonnes.
In transit is the crane 18.45 meters long, 3 meters wide and 4 meters tall. The transport mass is approx. 84 tonnes. A very sharp crane of Boekestijn!
