A Liebherr LTR 1220 telescopic crawler crane of the company Max Bögl from Neumarkt (DE) on a big construction site near bij Mönchengladbach (DE).
It is a 220 tonne crane with year of manufacture 2013. The crane is build in Ehingen (DE).
The undercarriage has a 7.25 meter width. The crawler tracks are hydraulically adjustable in width, the smallest version is 4.5 meters.
A track is 9.1 meters long, 1 meter wide and 1.56 meters height. The mass each is 18.6 tonnes. Over the tracks are four frames made, whereon a walkway can be made.
The crane is here used by the construction with precast concreteparts, a job where the crane is made for. The LTR 1220 is also often used by the assembly of windturbines. The LTR 1220 is then also usable ase 'floating' counterweight on a crawler crane with superlift.
Between the tracks are on both sides 10 tonnes of central carbody weights mounted.
The counterweight exists out of a 10 tonne base plate with six 10 tonne slabs, making 70 tonnes in total. The counterweight has a 5.1 meter tailswing. The crane of Bögl is equipped with a second winch, but wasn't used here.
The boom has a max. length of 60 meters and is extendable with a 12.2, 22, 26.2, 29 or 36 meter fixed jib. A small 3.4 meter assemly jib can be used with the second winch to tilt parts with two hooks.
