This sharp Liebherr LR 1350/1 of BOB Cranes from Dubai (AE) stood on a large construction site in Dubai to install prefab concrete elements on a large radius.
It is a 350-tonne crawler crane. The undercarriage of the crane is 9.7 meters long and 8.4 meters wide.
The crane has three slewing motors. During the transport over the road is the cabin slewed in front of the superstructure to reduce the transport width. During crane operation is the cabin tiltable for a better vision upwards.
The superstructure is powered by a Liebherr 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 270 kW (367 hp).
Here is the crane fitted with 85 tonnes of counterweight. The maximum counterweight is 125 tonnes if the crane is used without derrick boom. The counterweight has a 7.1 meter tailswing.
The central counterweight exists per side out of two slabs of each 7.5 tonnes and a top plate of 4 tonnes, the total central counterweight on the undercarriage is 38 tonnes.
The tracks are each 9.7 meters long, 1.2 meters wide and 1.53 meters tall. The transport mass each is 23 tonnes.
On this construction site was the crane working with superlift counterweight to lift the heavy concrete precast elements on large radius. The tray is here prepared with 65 tonnes of counterweight. The full counterweight is 210 tonens and has a variable counter radius between 9 and 15 meters.
The derrick boom has a 27 meter length.
Here was the crane erected in SDWB configuration; with derrick boom and luffing jib. The main boom is 36 meters long and the luffing jib is 78 meters long. In this configuration is the crane able to lift 37.5 tonnes on a 26 meter radius or 12.7 tonnes on an 80 meter radius.
The maximum combination in this configuration would be a 60 meter main boom with a 90 meter luffing jib.
The heavy precast elements are to be installed between the towers.
A very sharp crane of BOB Cranes! This company is also deploying a Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 and a Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1.
