Liebherr LG 1750 - BMS
The undercarriage of this new Liebherr LG 1750 for BMS from Aalborg (DK) stood in June 2018 prepared for delivery at Liebherr's plant in Ehingen (DE). The crane is coloured in the old colours of Total Wind. Usually is BMS using white and green colours.
The undercarriage is powered by a Liebherr D9508, a 16.2-liter 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 500 kW (680 hp). The engine poweres four of the eight axles, all axles are steerable.
The undercarriage has a 18.96 meter length, a 3 meter breadth and a 4 meter height. The transport mass is 96 tonnes. The mass can be reduced to 48 tonens once the four outriggers are dismantled.
The outrigger base of the crane measures 16 x 16 meters, or half 12.3 x 12 meters. The half outrigger base is used when the crane is deployed with the derrick boom.
The superstructure is installed on the construction site with use of an auxilary crane. On site is the LG 1750 able to relocate with the superstructure installed, the crane weights then about 154 tonnes.
