BKV from Barneveld (NL) was using their Liebherr LTM 1400-7.1 to replace two railway crossings near train station Hoorn Kersenboogerd (NL) after the last train passed by.
The crane is fitted here with the full counterweight of 140 tonnes. That has a 5.6 or 6.6 meter tailswing because its hydraulically adjustable.
The outrigger base measures 10 x 9.5 meters.
Both railway crossings are transported on combinations of W. van der Meijden, who was also using this sharp Volvo FH16 700 with 4-axle Nooteboom extendable trailer.
The beam is lifted of the trailer from the other side and then moved above the power lines (which are not powered anymore). The mass is around 30 tonnes.
The crane is working here with a 46.3 meter long guyed main boom. The maximum boom length is 60 meters.
They are working here with special designed lifting beams, now it is possible to install the concrete beams without the need to remove the power lines first. This will safe a lot of time.
In the meantime is the crane replaced by a new Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1.
