Construction company Otto Birk from Aitrach (DE) owned this Liebherr LTM 1030/2.
It is a 30 tonne crane on a 2 axle undercarriage. The crane is still in the Liebherr colors.
The crane has in total 5.5 tonnes of counterweight, 1.9 tonnes of that is lay down on the undercarriage during transport over the road. The other 3.6 tonnes remain on the superstructure. The counterweight has a 3.15 meter tailswing.
The outrigger base measures 6.3 x 6.0 meters, or half 6.3 x 4.3 meters.
The main boom has a 9.2 meter base length and has three telescopic sections for a 30 meter maximum main boom length.
In the small village Berkheim (DE) is the yearly may tree to be erected by the local fire man, the LTM 1030/2 will assist them by doing that.
During a brass band is playing some music the tree is erected from it's laying position.
The tree weights maximum 2 tonnes.
With assist of the access platform is the tree unhooked.

The crane is during traveling and operation powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 906 LA, a 6 cilinder diesel engine with 278 hp. Packed is the crane 10.3 meters long, 2.5 meters wide and 3.55 meters high. The transport weight is around 24 tonnes.
