Liebherr LTM 1250/1 - Binsell
A sharp Liebherr LTM 1250/1 of Binsell from Stockholm (SE), a large rental company of mobile- and tower cranes in Sweden.
It is a 250-tonne crane on a 6-axle carrier with year of manufacture 2002. The undercarriage is powered by a Liebherr D 9408 TI-E, an 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 440 kW (598 hp). This crane has the optional 12x8-drive line, with the third axle also powered. The axles 1 to 3, 4 and 5 are steerable.
The outrigger base measurer 8.84 x 8.5 meters, or half 8.84 x 5.58 meters.
Packed is the crane 17.4 meters long, 3 meters wide and 4 meters high. The transport mass is 72 tonnes.
The 6-part main boom has a 15.5 meter base length and extends five times to a maximum length of 72 meters.
The superstructure is powered by a 4-cylinder Liebherr D 924 TI-E diesel engine with a power of 180 kW (245 hp). The engine poweres five hydraulic oil pumps to operate the crane functions.
The total counterweight of the crane weights 97.5 tonnes and exists out of a 10 tonne base plate, three slabs with each 12.5 tonnes and four lateral hang on slabs with each 12.5 tonnes. The tailswing of the counterweight is 5.6 meters.
A sharp crane in the Binsell colours! The crane stood parked here in front of the gate of the manufacturer and was most probably traded for a newer crane.
