This sharp Liebherr 45 KR/80 of Berger from Passau (DE) could be photographed on a construction site near Deggendorf (DE). It is a bottom-slewing tower crane installed on a craweler undercarriage. The crane's year of manufacature is 1979.
The undercarriage is 5.5 meters wide and approx. 8 meters long.
The crane was produced in the Liebherr factory in Bischofshofen (AT).
To move independant over the construction site has the crane his own diesel power pack. The power pack is powered by a Perkins T 6.354, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 66 kW.
The tracks are 5.6 meters long, 0.8 meters wide and 1.2 meters tall.
The crane is mounted on a hydraulic levelling undercarriage. The crane can be levelled against the underground. The crane can be operated by maximum 6.5% inclination and relocated by maximum 16% inclination.
The adjustment of the undercarriage happens by use of four hydraulic cylinders, the only contact points between the crane and the crawler undercarriage. The cylinders have a stroke of 25 cm. The counterweight has a mass of 22.14 meters and a 3.95 meter tailswing.
With use of the outer-tower is it possible to extend the inner-tower. The hook height is to be configurerd between 13.0 and 32.3 meters.
The crane has a maximum lifting capacity of 6 tonnes.
Here was the crane fitted with the maximum jib length of 37 meters, on maximum radius is the crane able to lift maximum 1.3 tonnes. A sharp and well maintained crane of Berger!
