Liebherr LTM 1100-4.2 - Beng Huat

This sharp Liebherr LTM 1100-4.2 belongs to Beng Huat from Singapore (SG). It is a 100-tonne crane mounted on a 4-axle carrier with year of manufacture 2016.

The 4-axle undercarriage is powered by a Liebherr 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 350 kW (476 hp). This crane has the standard 8x6x8-drive line, where the axles 2, 3 and 4 are powered and all axles are steerable.

The outrigger base of the crane measures 8.6 x 7 meters, or half 8.6 x 5 meters.

Here was the crane fitted with the full counterweight of 25.7 tonnes. The counterweight has a 4.11 meter tailswing. The crane is fitted with two 7.7-tonne hoist winches, both with a 19 mm wire rope. The second hoist winch is in use here.

The crane was used here to hoist construction materials onto the roof of a building.

The main boom has an 11.5 meter base length and extends six times to a maximum length of 60 meters. Optionally is the main boom to be extended by a 10.8 - 19 meter long bi-fold swingaway jib. The jib is by hydraulics in an angle between 0 and 40 degrees towards the main boom adjustable.

Here was the main boom fully extended and the bi-fold swingaway jib was mounted. The maximum hook height in this configuration is approx. 78 meters!

In transit is the crane 14 meters long, 2.75 meters wide and 4 meters tall.

Attached to the superstructure remains always 5 tonnes of counterweight. On the undercarriage are 9.7 tonnes of counterweight stored. The crane itself takes 14.7 tonnes of counterweight with it.

Both the 5.5-tonne hang-on slabs are transported by this Scania P 360 truck.

A very sharp crane of Beng Huat!
