The Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 of Asiagroup from Singapore (SG) was there used by the installation of bridge sections. Because the crane was required to be set up at the public road, the job would only start after 12:30 AM.
The first bridge section was relatively early delivered to site.
The combination exists out of a Volvo FH16 700 with an 8-axle Goldhofer trailer.
When the crane is still doing the last movements on the assemebly of the crane is the bridge section reversed into the road lane next to the crane.
The bridge section with a 24 meter length and a mass of 30 tonnes is hanging in the crane.
The main boom with a maximum length of 50 meters is extended here to a length of 36.9 meters.
Relatively fast is the bridge section positioned above the bearings, the working radius is about 20 meters.
The outrigger base measures 10 x 9.6 meters.
Here was the crane fitted with 105 tonnes of counterweight, the counterweight has a 6.6 meter tailswing. The full counterweight weights 165 tonnes.
The next night the crane would lift the second section of the bridge. The crane is already assembled on the middle of the road.
The second section was also delivered by the Volvo FH16 700. Because this construction is longer, the load is now loaded on turntables.
The LTM 1500-8.1 was set up in the same configuration.
The second bridge section weights 42 tonnes.
I didn't joined the installation of the third and last bridge section. A very interesting job by Asiagroup!
