Zwagerman VMT from Nederhorst den Berg (NL) was deploying this sharp Kobelco 7100, a 100-tonne crawler crane with year of manufacture 2001.
The crane is powered by a Mitsubishi 6D22-T, an 11.2-liter 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 184 kW (250 hp). The diesel engine powers in total five hydraulic pumps.
The undercarriage is 7.76 meters long and 6.16 meters wide.
The crane is fitted with two 11-tonne hoist winches, both are equipped with a 26 mm hoist wire rope.
The main boom has an 18.3 meter base length and can be extended to a maximum length of 73.2 meters. Optionally is the crane available with a luffing jib, the main boom is in that case maximum 50.1 meters long and the jib has a maximum length of 44.2 meters.
Attached to the superstructure is a four-part counterweight with a total mass of 40.5 tonnes. The counterweight has a 4.85 meter tailswing.
The crane was fitted here with a luffing jib and was assisting on the construction of a new office building built with precast concrete elements.
The main boom was here 31.8 meters long and the luffing jib was 25.9 meters long. Over the luffing jib is the crane able to hoist a maximum load of 20 tonnes. A very sharp crane of Zwagerman VMT!
