This sharp Kobelco CKS900 belongs to Yew Choon from Singapore (SG) and is mainly used for lifting duties in their yard. It is a 90-tonne crawler crane.
The crane is powered by a Hino J08E-VM, a 7.68-litre 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 213 kW. The diesel engine powers in total three hydraulic pumps.
The undercarriage is 6.28 meters long and 5.13 meters wide. For the transport over the road is the width to be reduced to 3.5 meters.
Attached to the undercarriage is a total of 14.4 tonnes of central counterweight.
The counterweight attached to the superstructure has a total mass of 31.9 tonnes and has a 4.5 meter tailswing.
The crane is fitted with two 11.4-tonne hoist winches, which are both in use here.
Here is the crane fitted with a 27.4 meter long main boom, in this configuration is the crane able to hoist maximum 57 tonnes on a 5.1 meter radius or 8.8 tonnes to a 24.9 meter radius. A very sharp crane by Yew Choon!
