This impressive Kobelco 7250-2F belongs to Tiong Seng from Singapore (SG) and stood erected at their yard, it is a 250-tonne crawler crane.
The crane's undercarriage is 8,97 meters long and 7.47 meters wide. For the transport over the road are the tracks to be removed from the body.
The tracks are each 8.97 meters long, 1.07 meters wide and 1.36 meters tall. Their mass each is 20 tonnes.
The crane is powered by a Hino P11C-UN, an 10.52-litre 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 247 kW. The diesel engine powers in total four hydraulic pumps.
Attached to the carbody is 20 tonnes of central counterweights; each side one block of 10 tonnes.
Attached to the superstructure is a 97.1 tonne counterweight, the counterweight has a 5.85 meter tailswing. The counterweight exists out of a 13.5-tonne base plate, three slabs with each a mass of 13.2 tonnes and four blocks with a mass of 11 tonnes each.
Here was the crane fitted in the most shortest configuration possible with luffing jib. The main boom is here 36.6 meters long and the jib is 27.4 meters long.
The luffing jib has a 27.4 meter minimum length and a maximum length of 51.8 meters.
The main boom has a maximum length of 64.1 meters. In this configuration "tower jib" is the luffing jib always shorter than the main boom because the jib is erected below the main boom.
A sharp and impressive crane of Tiong Seng!
