This Kobelco BM800HD of Sin Heng from Singapore (SG) was there used at the construction of a tunnel. It is an 80-tonne crawler crane.
The undercarriage of the crane is 5.88 meters long and 4.83 meters wide. For the transport over the road is the width to be reduced to 3.5 meters. The crane is powered by a Mitsubishi 6D24-TE1 diesel engine with a power of 184 kW.
Attached to the superstructure is a total of 25.8 tonnes of counterweight with a tailswing of 4.3 meters mounted. The A-frame has in working position a height of approx. 5.73 meters and can be folded down for the transport over the road.
The crane is fitted with two 11-tonne hoist winches both fitted with a 26 mm wire rope. The main boom of the crane is minimum 12.2 meters long and maximum 54.9 meters long.
Here was the crane fitted with a 24.4 meter main boom. In this configuration is the crane able to hoist maximum 45.9 tonnes on a 5.9 meter radius or 7.5 tonnes to a 22.4 meter radius. A sharp crane of Sin Heng!
