Kobelco TK550 - Quek & Quek Civil Engineering
This Kobelco TK550 of Quek & Quek Civil Engineering from Singapore (SG) was used on a civil project there. It is a 55-tonne crawler crane with telescopic boom with a mass of approx. 50 tonnes.
The crane is powered by a Mitsubishi 6D16-TLE1 diesel engine with a power of 147 kW. The engine powers multiple hydraulic pumps.
The undercarriage is 5.6 meters long and 4.36 meters wide. For the transport over the road is the width to be reduced to 2.84 meters only.
On this side is hanging in total 12 tonnes of counterweight with a 3.8 meter tailswing. The crane has two hoist winches, with a 4.5 and 5 tonne line pull. Optionally was the crane also availabel with a 3-tonne third winch.
The crane has a 4-part main boom with a 9.97 meter base length and a maximum length of 30.1 meters. The boom is here extended 23.4 meters, in this configuration is the crane able 22 tonnes to 5.5 meters and 1.65 tonnes to a 20.9 meter radius.
