Kobelco CKE2500-2 - Multi Ways
This impressive Kobelco CKE2500-2 of Multi Ways from Singapore was together with a Kobelco 7120S used for soil compaction.
The undercarriage of the 250-tonne crawler crane is 8.97 meters long and 7.62 meters wide. The crane is powered by a HINO P11C-UN diesel engine with a power of 247 kW.
Attached to the undercarriage are 24 tonnes of central counterweight.
Attached to the superstructure is in total 90 tonnes of counterweight. The counterweight has a 6 meter tailswing. Attached to the superstructure is an additional frame with a large powerpack to drive the vibrator hanging in the crane.
Here was the crane fitted with a 45.7 meter long main boom, the maximum length of the main boom is 91.4 meters.
There are no hooks, but tools reefed into the crane. The vibrator will dissapear into the soil and simultainously is a filling material added for extra stability in the soil.
