This fine Kobelco CKE700 belongs to HSL from Singapore (SG) and was deployed as an auxiliary crane alongside a drilling rig.

The CKE700 is powered by a Hino J08E-TM, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with an output of 159 kW. The diesel engine drives a total of three hydraulic pumps.

The carrier is 5.99 metres long and 4.83 metres wide. For transport on public roads, the width can be reduced to 3.39 metres.

A total of 3.1 tonnes of central ballast is mounted on the carrier.

The crane is equipped with two 8-tonne hoist winches.

A total of 22.5 tonnes of ballast is mounted on the superstructure; the swing radius of the ballast is 4.15 metres. The ballast consists of three parts weighing 8.99 tonnes, 7.373 tonnes and 6.192 tonnes respectively.

The main boom has a base length of 9.1 metres and can be extended to a maximum of 54.9 metres. Optionally, the main boom can be extended with a fixed jib measuring 6.1, 12.2 or 18.3 metres in length.

Here, the crane was erected with a 30.5-metre-long main boom. In this configuration, the crane can lift a maximum of 27.3 tonnes at a radius of 6.8 metres or 4.3 tonnes up to a radius of 27.7 metres. Both hoist winches are in use on this crane.

A very fine crane from HSL!
