Kobelco TK550 - CLL
This interesting Kobelco TK550 of CLL from Auckland (NZ) could be seen on a construction site in the same city. It is a 55-tonne telescopic crane on a crawler undercarriage.
The undercarriage is 5.59 meters long and 4.36 meters wide. For the transport over the road can the width be reduced to 2.84 meters.
The crane is powered by a Mitsubishi 6D16-TLE1, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 147 kW. The engine powers in total six hydraulic pumps. The crane has a total mass of approx. 50 tonnes.
In total has the crane 12 tonnes of counterweight with a 3.8 meter tailswing.
The 4-part main boom has a 9.97 meter base length and has a maximum length of 30.1 meters once the boom is fully extended. The crane is working here with two hoist winches, each equipped with an 18 mm wire rope. A boom extension isn't available.
Here was the crane used as an auxilairy crane next to a drilling rig. An interessting machine!
