Kato SL-650R - Sumitomo Mitsui

This sharp Kato SL-650R belongs to Sumitomo Mitsui from Singapore (SG) and was used there as an assist crane for a test installation for piles. It is a 65-tonne rough-terrain crane mounted on a 2-axle chassis.

The 2-axle undercarriage is powered by a Mitsubishi 6D24-TLE2A, an 11.9-liter 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 257 kW (350 hp). On the road is the crane able to reach a speed of 49 km/h.

In transit is the crane 12.59 meters long, 2.99 meters wide and 3.88 meters tall. The total mass of the crane is approx. 39.6 tonnes.

The main boom has a 10 meter base length and extends five times to a maximum length of 44.5 meters. The crane is fitted with two 5-tonne hoist winches which are both in use here.

The full outrigger base of the crane measures 8.5 x 7.6 meters.
