Kato KR-25H-IIIL - Foundation Specialists

This interesting Kato KR-25H-IIIL of Foundation Specialists from Makati City (PH) stood on a parking in San Fernando (PH). It is a 25-tonne rough-terrain crane that is mainly used by the construction of large infrastructure projects.

The undercarriage with 4x4x4-drive is powered by a Mitsubishi 6D16T diesel engine with 160 kW (215 hp).

The crane is 11.03 meters long, 2.62 meters wide and 3.52 meters tall. The total mass of the crane is approx. 25.66 tonnes.

The outrigger base of the crane has a maximum breadth of 6.2 meters.

The crane is fitted with two 3-tonne hoist winches, each equipped with a 16 mm hoist wire rope.

The 4-part main boom has an 8.9 meter base length and extends three times to a maximum length of 28.5 meters. Optionally is the main boom to be extended by a 7.8 - 12.8 meter long jib. The jib in mountable to the main boom under a 5, 17 or 30 degree angle.

The counterweight has a 3.2 meter tailswing.
