Kato SS-500 - Asiagroup
This Kato SS-500 of Asiagroup could be photographed during a visit to their yard. It is a 45-tonne rough terrein crane mounted on a 2-axle carrier.
The crane is powered by a Mitsubishi 6D22TC diesel engine with a power of 239 kW (320 hp). The crane has a 4x4x4-drive line and can reach a driving speed of maximum 49 km/h on the road.
In transit is the crane 12.61 meters long, 3 meters wide and 3.78 meters tall. The crane has a total mass of 37.6 tonnes.
The outrigger base measures 8 x 7.3 meters.
The main boom has a 10.4 meter base length and extends four times to a maximum length of 39 meters. The main boom can be extended by a 9 or 14.5 meter long jib. The crane is fitted with two 4-tonne hoist winches which are both equipped with an 18 mm wire rope.
