Hitachi Sumitomo SCX2800-2 - Tat Hong
Tat Hong is deploying multiple of these sharp Hitachi Sumitomo SCX2800-2 crawler cranes. This sharp crane was used by the construction of a new industrial building in Singapore (SG). The crane has a maximum lifting capacity of 275 tonnes.
The undercarriage is 9.045 meters long and 7,52 meters wide. In total is 18 tonnes of central counterweight mounted, each side 9 tonnes.
The crane is powered by a Mitsubishi 6M70-TL, a 12.9-liter 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 272 kW (370 hp).
Attached to the super structure is a counterweight of 102.8 tonnes counterweight, the counterweight has a 6 meter tailswing.
Here was the crane fitted with a luffing jib. The main boom is here 30.5 meters long and the luffing jib is 45.7 meters long.
The luffing jib has a minimum length of 21.35 meters and can be increased in length to maximum 60.95 meters.
The crane was used for the instalation of precast concrete elements.
