This sharp Hitachi Sumitomo SCX2000A-2 belongs to Tat Hong from Singapore (SG) and was used on a yard for PPVC moduels.
The undercarriage is 8.46 meters long and 6.98 meters wide. A single track is 8.46 meters long, 1.12 meters wide and 1.46 meters tall. The tracks must be removed for the transport over the road and have a mass of 18.7 tonnes each.
Between the tracks are per side central counterweight slabs with a mass of 13.8 tonnes mounted. In total is 27.6 tonnes of counterweight mounted to the carrier.
The crane is powered by a Mitsubishi 6M70-TL, a 12.9-liter 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 272 kW (370 hp).
The crane is fitted with two 25-tonne hoist winches.
Attached to the superstructure is a counterweight with a mass of 80.6 tonnes. The counterweight has a 5.92 meter tailswing.
The main boom has a 15.25 meter base length and has a maximum length of 85.4 meters. Here was the crane fitted with a 39.65 meter long main boom.
PPVC modules are in Singapore used in the construction of appartments, this construction method requires less workers on site and accelerates the construction time significantly. Such modules has a mass of approx. 15 to 35 tonnes, the lifting frame weights around 5 tonnes.
In this configuration is the crane able to hoist 94.5 tonnes on an 8.8 meter radius or 17 tonnes to a 35.9 meter radius. A sharp crane of Tat Hong!
