Hitachi Sumitomo SCX1500-2 - PVE
This sharp Hitachi Sumitomo SCX1500-2 of PVE from Oosterhout (NL) stood during their open day on their yard. It is a 150-tonne crawler crane with year of manufacture 2008.
The undercarriage of the crane is 7.9 meters long and 6.37 meters wide. A single track is 7.9 meters long, 0.97 meters wide and 1.35 meters tall. The tracks have to be removed for the transport over the road and have a mass of 14.6 tonnes.
The crane is powered by an Isuzu 6HK1X, a 7.8-liter 6-cylinder diesel engine wiht a power of 212 kW (288 hp).
Attached to the superstructure is a 5-part counterweight with a total mass of 46 tonnes. The counterweight has a 5.5 meter tailswing.
Attached to the undercarriage is on both sides a central counterweight of 4.75 tonnes mounted, in total is it 9.5 tonnes.
Here was the crane fitted with a 39 meter main boom, the maximum length of the main boom is 75 meters.
