Hitachi Sumitomo SCX1000A-3
Pollisum
This sharp Hitachi Sumitomo SCX1000A-3 belongs to Pollisum from Singapore (SG). It is a 100-tonne crawler crane. Pollisum is a large crane rental company from Singapore and deploys mobile cranes up to 600 tonnes and crawler cranes up to 275 tonnes lifting capacity.
The undercarriage is 6.295 meters long and 4.99 meters wide. For the transport over the road is the width to be reduced to 3.4 meters.
Attached to the undercarriage is a total of 12 tonnes of central counterweight, per side one 6-tonne block.
A single track is 6.295 meters long, 0.81 meters wide and 1.11 meters tall. The tracks could be separated from the undercarriage and have a mass of 9.6 tonnes each.
The crane is powered by a Isuzu 6HK1, a 7.79-liter 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 200.6 kW (272 hp). The diesel engine powers in total seven hydraulic pumps.
Attached to the superstructure is full six-part counterweight with a total mass of 37.5 tonnes. The counterweight has a 4.3 meter tailswing.
The crane is fitted with two 12-tonne hoist winches.
Here was the crane fitted with a luffing jib in tower configuration. In this configuration is the main boom maximum 44.5 meters long and the luffing jib is maximum 37 meters long.
Here was the crane fitted with a 38.5 meter long main boom and a 34 meter luffing jib. In this configuration is the crane able to lift maximum 11.5 tonnes on a 12.6 meter radius or 4.3 tonnes to a 36.4 meter radius. A very sharp crane of Pollisum, this company deploys two of these cranes in their fleet.
Here, the fine Hitachi Sumitomo SCX1000A-3 of Pollisum was deployed during the construction of their new workshop and office building in the north of Singapore.
In the meantime, the base plate of the ballast was painted red. The ballast with a total weight of 37.5 tonnes has a swing radius of only 4.3 metres.
Once again, the crane was erected in tower configuration with a luffing jib. The main boom is 41.5 metres long here and the jib 34 metres. In this configuration, the crane can lift a maximum of 11.5 tonnes at a radius of 12.6 metres or 4.3 tonnes up to a radius of 36.3 metres. An impressive configuration!
