Hitachi Sumitomo SCX550 - Achterdijk
Achterdijk Kranenverhuur from Leimuiden (NL) is operating this sharp Hitachi Sumitomo SCX550, a 55-tonne crawler crane. The crane stood here on a construction site in Amsterdam (NL). Around the cabin is a heavy protection frame installed, because the crane is also used for demolition jobs.
The crane is powered by an Isuzu 4HK1X, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 147 kW (200 hp). The engine powers four hydraulic pumps.
The undercarriage is 5.55 meters long and 4.36 meters wide. For the transport over the road can the undercarriage width be reduced to 3.3 meters.
