Hitachi CX1000

Pollisum

Pollisum from Singapore (SG) deployed this fine Hitachi CX1000 crawler crane from a pontoon. It is a 100-tonne crawler crane. The maximum lifting capacity can be lifted at a radius of 5.5 metres.

The crane is powered by an Isuzu 6RB1T, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with an output of 220 kW (300 hp).

The carrier is 8.07 metres long and 6.19 metres wide. The crawler tracks are each 0.94 metres wide. Because the crane was deployed permanently from the pontoon, the carrier was fully enclosed with steel profiles.

The crane is equipped with two 12.5-tonne hoist winches.

The main boom has a base length of 16 metres and can be extended in steps of 3 metres to a maximum of 73 metres.

An eight-part ballast is mounted on the superstructure, the total weight is 39.2 tonnes and the swing radius of the ballast is 4.99 metres. No central ballast is mounted on the carrier.

Here, the crane was erected with a 43-metre main boom. In this configuration, the crane could lift a maximum of 38.1 tonnes at a radius of 9.7 metres or 6.4 tonnes up to a radius of 38.8 metres.

An extra sheave is mounted on the boom head of the main boom for work with the second winch.

A very fine crane from Pollisum! In the meantime, this crane was sold to a new owner in Indonesia.
