Hitachi CX550 - Oosterhof Holman
This Hitachi CX550 of Oosterhof Holman from Grijpskerk (NL) was used by the Suikerunie in Groningen (NL).
It is a 55 tonne heavy duty crane here executed as dragline. The crane is 4.36 meters wide.

The year of construction is 2001. The tracks are 5.55 meters long. The CX500 and CX550 have almost the same look, the CX550 has more counterweight.
Here the crane starts digging, the boom is 28 meters long.
The ground is dumped behind the machine.
The tailswing of the counterweight is 4 meters.
As engine is a HINO H07CT used with 180 hp.
As crane the max. boomlength is 52 metres. The 55 tonnes are hoisted on a 3.7 meter radius.
Always nice to see a dragline in real-life working!
